Apparently the Carolinas bring out the worst in the Clintons. They've gone from flagrant race-baiting after South Carolina's loss to outright racism after their loss in North Carolina.
How far will the media let it go? Tomorrow will the AP headline "Clinton Courts Klan members in West Virginia"?
And isn't that what she's doing? From her comments yesterday, it's pretty clear that she's pinning her hopes on stirring white racial pride, pitting uneducated whites against blacks.
Only I think the media's terminology for "white racial pride" is racism. And from what I understand, stirring racism can be highly volatile.
It just absolutely amazes me that the media's PC movement has completely evaporated in the face of "special interest" infighting -
Where is the outrage? If McCain had made the same remarks Clinton spouted yesterday, how viciously would he be vilified?
I guess that's why most people have more faith in used car salesmen than they do in politicians or the lazy journalists who mindlessly deliver their "spin".
But nonetheless, the unrepentant pass the media have given the Clintons in making these remarks - and their complicity in helping spread these "messages" really needs to be called into question.
Or are we just going to blame the end result on the ignorance of the general public, rather than calling out the folks who kept telling them the theater was on fire?
Maybe the ensuing inner-city race riots, which may well spread throughout the South, present a situation where the ends justifies the means. I'm certain newspapers will be flying off the news stands - either that or burning down with them. It's all good for the elitist journalists and politicians in their protected gated communities - "How did this happen?"
Does that sound preposterous? Any more ludicrous than a DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE PROMOTING RACISM as her only path to the party's nomination?

I'm sitting here, listening to the Beasties' "Sabotage". I'm pretty sure that's the Clintonian game plan. It's all about damaging Obama's viability in the general, so she can redux for 2012. Then 2016 if anyone gets in her way again.

The Media talks about RACE, every time they give us the voting stats...which is everyday!!! Obama gets 90% of the Black vote, students,and upper income voters...and...Hillary gets 60% of the blue collar White vote, women and older voters. This isn't racist...these are voting blocks! And don't forget, the Catholic vote, the Jewish vote, the Hispanic vote,etc, etc, etc!!!
I think that bringing this up is a valid issue when people are talking about the ever-ambiguous "electability" of a candidate. Political correctness or not, if a candidate cannot win the votes of the white working class (for whatever) reason, he or she is going to have a very tough time as a general election candidate. I think this is racial rather than racist, a fine but important distinction.

Are you nuts? This isn't racism, she was talking about a demographic (white working class voters) which is numerically larger than Obama's. Nothing racist about it. I swear, Obama supporters are following Dick Morris like the pied piper and doing everything they can to insure Clinton supporters will never vote for Obama.
